3. User Accounts & Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and JWT tokens. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate platform security protocols or rate limits.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

When using SkillNexus, you agree not to:

  • Engage in automated web scraping, excessive query flooding, or attacks intended to disrupt platform API health.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer proprietary vector embedding models or backend serverless infrastructure.
  • Misrepresent legal search outputs or use platform outputs in violation of local jurisdiction regulations.

5. Mandatory Review & Verification of Outputs

You acknowledge and expressly agree that all search results, summaries, vector analyses, and comparative matrices generated by SkillNexus are provided for research and informational assistance only. Users maintain the absolute professional obligation to thoroughly examine, verify, and cross-reference all platform outputs against primary authoritative gazettes, official court records, and governing statutory texts before applying them in any legal, judicial, academic, or corporate context.

6. Limitation of Liability & Indemnification

SkillNexus provides tools to assist professional research, but does not constitute formal legal counsel. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of profits, loss of data, or professional inconveniences arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the platform or its generated outputs—even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SkillNexus, its developers, affiliates, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) resulting from your violation of these Terms of Service or your reliance on unverified platform data.

7. Subscriptions & Billing

Paid subscription tiers (such as Researcher and Professional) are billed in advance on a recurring monthly cycle. You may cancel or modify your subscription tier at any time through your account settings or by contacting our support team.
